We are seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer to to manage and oversee the smooth operation of critical applications, ensuring seamless user experience and system functionality.

- Leadership Role: Take charge of support operations and lead a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a 24/7/365 level 1 application support team, ensuring continuous support for both applications and systems.
- Participate in the recruitment and management of staff, including planning and organizing shift rotations.
- Train team members on the application's functionality, interface, and features, ensuring they are equipped to handle support tasks.
- Ensure team members provide adequate support to end-users, while also delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Take full ownership of all issues raised, ensuring they are resolved, regardless of which development team or vendor is responsible.
- Act as the primary point of contact for both technology teams and end-user clients on a day-to-day basis.
- Maintain and update a knowledge base of known issues, defects, and troubleshooting techniques, and ensure problem tickets are properly managed.
- Handle escalations effectively and manage client expectations to ensure smooth operations.
- Debug and improve application code when necessary to resolve issues or enhance functionality.
Requirements:
- Singaporean only.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to handle Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in relevant roles.
- Prior experience in supporting Web-based applications.
- Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
- Familiarity with IT industry practices and methodologies (ITIL foundation certification will be an added advantage).
