Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cybersecurity Scientist to guide our cybersecurity product strategy, research initiatives, and ensure the security of our company's products and infrastructure. This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry, hands-on experience in technical research, and the ability to drive innovation in security products.

Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Product Strategy:

• Collaborate with Product Teams to craft the company's cybersecurity product strategy and roadmap.
• Continuously assess and adapt the product strategy to address new and evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Cybersecurity Research:

• Lead Cybersecurity Engineers in conducting technical research to understand and forecast emerging cyber threats.
• Develop and evaluate approaches to effectively address these threats.
• Monitor global cybersecurity trends and integrate relevant findings into the product strategy and roadmap
• Conduct internal product validations to ensure that our cybersecurity products are world-class.

Company Security:

• Oversee the security of the company's products and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Manage and maintain company security certifications such as ISO27001 and CSA STAR Level 2

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of technical experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on research in industry.
• Proven experience in using and managing a wide range of cybersecurity products, cybersecurity researchers, cybersecurity analysts or software engineers.
• Technical experience in one or more of these areas: zero-day vulnerability research, incident response, forensics, reverse engineering exploits, manual penetration testing, etc
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing cybersecurity landscapes and incorporate new information into strategic planning.
