### **Location / Timezone:**
The location is flexible however this position requires the candidate to work within the GMT+8 time zone, with a standard work schedule from
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in GMT+8 time zone.
Flexibility is available, allowing for a shift start time 3 hours earlier or later.
### **The Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with specialized knowledge in the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly in setting up and managing Ethereum validators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional DevOps practices, with the ability to independently analyze and enhance validator performance. This role requires expertise in cross-cloud environments, Kubernetes, and automation, with a focus on Ethereum, particularly in DVT technology. Additionally, it involves working with major ecosystems in Ethereum, such as Lido, Obol, and SSV.
### Responsibilities:
- Strategically oversee the setup, management, and optimization of Ethereum validators, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and security standards.
- Conduct independent in-depth analysis of validator performance, proactively identifying areas for enhancement and implementing robust solutions.
- Spearhead the development and maintenance of comprehensive monitoring systems for validators, delivering regular performance reports to stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives involving SSV technologies, fostering collaborations with platforms like Lido to augment validator functionalities and capabilities.
- Direct the management of cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Bare-metal platforms, utilizing Kubernetes to ensure fault tolerance, high availability, and seamless scalability.
- Architect and implement sophisticated continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, elevating development and operational efficacy to new heights.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to align Ethereum-related endeavours with overarching business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Stay at the forefront of Ethereum ecosystem advancements and remain up-to-date with EIPS technologies, leveraging cutting-edge insights to optimize operational frameworks.
## Must have:
- Proven at least 5+ years of experience in a traditional DevOps/SRE role.
- Strong understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly in setting up and managing Ethereum validators.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Ability to independently analyze and optimize system performance.
- Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
## Nice to have:
- Previous experience working with SSV, Obol technologies, and Lido.
- Advanced knowledge in managing multi-cloud environments.
- Ability to propose creative solutions and stay ahead of industry trends.
