As the IT Vendor Management Lead, you will be responsible overseeing and optimizing relationships with IT vendors and service providers. This role involves managing vendor contracts, ensuring service delivery aligns with business needs, and driving strategic sourcing initiatives.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective vendor performance, risk and cost management, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.
- Ensure vendors meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
- Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of IT vendor contracts.
- Review and manage contract terms, contract disputes or amendments, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and compliance.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors, lead the vendor selection process and develop strategic sourcing to optimize performance and cost.
- Identify and assess risks associated with IT vendors, including financial, operational, compliance, and security risks.
- Ensure that all vendor contracts include appropriate risk management clauses and contingencies.
- Monitor and assess vendor performance against established metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare and present reports on vendor performance, contract compliance, cost management, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Manage vendor budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost control.
- Conduct audits and reviews of vendor performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to align vendor strategies with business goals.
- Implement process improvements for better vendor management and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Min 7-10 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or a related field.
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise/knowledge and a strong risk-focused approach, ensuring precise execution and compliance with best practices in payment infrastructure.
- Knowledgeable in MAS TRM/TRMG and familiar with regulatory and legal requirements for IT vendor management.
- Proven experience managing IT vendor relationships, contracts, and associated risks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
