We are looking for a Lead JAVA Software Engineer with extensive experience in high-frequency or electronic trading platforms. The successful candidate will lead a team of developers, oversee the entire software development lifecycle, and ensure the delivery of high-quality trading solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance trading applications.
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize trading algorithms for low latency and high throughput.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Experience Needed :
- MINIMUM OF 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
- Proven experience in high-frequency trading systems or electronic trading platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Familiarity with financial markets and trading algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
