Lead Power Systems Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of electrical engineers focused on power systems (generation, distribution, control).
- Guide and support the team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into product designs.
- Oversee testing and optimization of electrical components for reliability and performance.
- Select components and wiring based on cost, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Stay current on new technologies and trends to improve designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships to source quality components.
- Oversee the design process from concept to production, providing support during testing.
- Collaborate with leadership on project goals, timelines, and resources.
- Lead design reviews to improve product quality and energy efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in power systems and electrical engineering.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Expertise in electrical design tools (e.g., E3.series, SOLIDWORKS Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Strong understanding of power electronics, circuit theory, and energy management.
- Experience in robotics, automotive, or commercial products.
- Familiarity with sustainability and emerging trends in power systems.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
