Established Electronics OEM firm is looking for a Senior person to join their Product Design Engineering team. This role is part of an expansion and is newly created. Please find the brief JD below:
Responsibilities
- Lead new product development and manufacturing processes for electronic connectors (high speed)
- Develop product modifications and expand product lines to grow market share
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to assess feasibility and ensure plant capabilities align with new concepts
- Oversee activities related to DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report) testing, FOT (First Article Testing), FSV (Functional Safety Verification)
- Actively involved in analytical activities such as Tolerance Analysis, Proof of Concept (POC), Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in designing connectors
- Background in mechanical product design for electronic/consumer products
- Proficient in product development process
- Strong knowledge of tolerance analysis, DFMEA, and FEA
