Lead Software Developer
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Lead Software Developer to drive the creation and enhancement of our web services. This role entails managing the product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with client needs, market demands, and our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, a proven track record with web service products, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize the product roadmap for our web service portfolio, aligning it with market trends, customer insights, and business goals.
- Lead backend API coding and system design, coordinating with frontend teams to deliver key features. Be the key person to write the backend code.
- Lead the product development process from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, and testing, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify areas for innovation and improvement in our web services.
- Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to drive successful product launches and continuous improvements.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, gathering insights to guide product development and enhance customer satisfaction with our offerings.
- Oversee multiple product development projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Supervise testing phases to ensure our web services are reliable, scalable, and meet high-quality standards.
- Track product performance post-launch, utilizing KPIs and analytics to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and market shifts to promote ongoing innovation and enhancement in our products.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in hands-on coding in C#/.net technologies, still able to code heavily.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or development, ideally in web services or software products.
- Demonstrated experience managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Strong technical understanding of web services, APIs, cloud platforms, and digital solutions.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic product decisions.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of .NET Core & RESTful API design is a plus.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like VueJS and Flutter is advantageous.
