Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and strategic Lead for our User Experience Design (UED) team. As the UED Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the user experience strategy across our wallet product suite. You will work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our wallet provides a seamless, engaging, and user-centered experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and is excited to drive the UX vision for a market-leading product in the crypto space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers, researchers, and content strategists to deliver world-class experiences.
- Strategy: Define and execute the UX strategy and vision for our crypto wallet products, aligning with overall business and product goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive design decisions that impact the product roadmap and user journey.
- User-Centered Design: Champion user research, usability testing, and feedback loops to inform design decisions. Ensure that user needs and pain points are at the forefront of design solutions.
- Design Execution: Oversee the creation of high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs. Maintain design consistency across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web).
- Innovation: Stay at the forefront of design trends, especially in the crypto space, and explore new ways to make the wallet experience even more intuitive and accessible.
- Metrics: Analyze user behavior data and performance metrics to assess and improve the usability and effectiveness of design solutions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a design advocate within the company, ensuring a seamless collaboration between UED, engineering, and product teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in user experience design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in designing digital products, particularly in fintech or crypto-related platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your work in UX/UI design, wireframing, prototyping, and user research.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
- A passion for the crypto space and understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in designing for digital wallets and blockchain technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in blockchain, crypto, or decentralized finance (DeFi).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with user research tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience designing for mobile-first, cross-platform applications.
