Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region. We're looking for a passionate and innovative L&D Specialist to join our team! You'll be the driving force behind our training programmes, crafting and delivering engaging initiatives that inspire and empower both our Retail and HQ teams from onboarding through ongoing professional development. Working closely with the Retail Management and People Operations teams, you'll localise and integrate content for our regional markets, ensuring it reflects our culture and core values in every service interaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop in-store training programmes for all retail roles, ensuring that the retail teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide radical service to our customers.
- Ensure that all training materials embody our brand values and promote effective service language and standards for our retail team members.
- Lead and create a global training playbook to support new store openings in current and new regions, ensuring sustainability and effectiveness to meet each market's specific needs.
- Partner closely with the Retail Management and People Operations teams to identify learning needs and execute training strategies.
- Steer the development of content and appropriate delivery methods to drive the HQ L&D agenda and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Stay connected with the broader BTV organisation by collaborating with retail and other functional HQ teams, as well as through offsite visits to stores.
- Stay current with innovative L&D practices and trends to identify potential areas for improvement and growth.
- Monitor and analyse training effectiveness through key metrics, reporting the findings to Management along with recommendations for improvement.
Requirements include:
- Minimally 3-4 years of experience in building training and career development programmes for similar fashion/lifestyle/e-commerce brands with a global presence.
- Exceptional facilitator and storyteller; we want you if you thrive as a highly effective communicator in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proven experience in setting and driving L&D strategy and budget across diverse geographical locations.
- You lead by example with an inclusive approach that supports diverse experience levels and learning styles, and you are eager to grow by empowering others.
