Job Description
- Distribution and/or Product related matters for the Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) - Insurance
- Legal advice for the sale and distribution of WPB Insurance products through third party channels - review and negotiation of distribution and partnership agreements and company's risk framework relating to the engagement of third party distributors
- Product work will involve preparation of standard documentation for new products and reviewing/amending on-the-shelf products as required, product governance discussions to assess legal, reputational and conduct risks and in respect of more complex products, considerations of customer/sales suitability
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified Lawyer with minimum 7 years post qualification experience
- Strong drafting skills, experience with commercial transactions, documentation- advising on legal issues relating to confidentiality, data privacy, competition law, etc will be preferred
- Good understanding of insurance law and regulations in Singapore is preferred
