Key Responsibilities:
Contract Review and Negotiation:
- Review regular commercial contracts, including solar product sales contracts, non-disclosure agreements, MOUs, and office leases.
- Support the commercial team in major supply contract negotiations for the APAC region.
Legal Research and Risk Prevention:
- Conduct daily legal research and provide advice on key legislative changes in Singapore and other APAC countries.
- Implement legal risk prevention measures for the company's business.
Dispute Resolution:
- Assist in various legal disputes or litigations within the APAC region and/or the Group.
Subsidiary Management:
- Manage local subsidiaries in Singapore and coordinate daily legal matters among various departments of the APAC region or Group as needed.
Other Duties:
- Complete other daily tasks as assigned by the team leader or HQ management.
Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB), admission to the Singapore, UK, Malaysia or Australia Bar.
- At least 3 to 5 years of post-admission experience as a lawyer in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Preferred candidates with experience in the energy storage or EPC industry.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese, to liaise with Chinese counterparties. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus to liaise with Japanese counterparties.
- Initiative, hardworking, and capable of delivering quality results under pressure.
- Proven team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
