Our client is an esteemed Global multi-strategy Hedge Fund. Our client has cultivated an environment that brings together creative, talented, and outstanding professionals.

This is a newly created role as a result of expansion across APAC. We are looking for a Legal Counsel to support on all Hedge Fund related legal matters.

Key Roles & Responsibilities of Legal Counsel, Hedge Fund

• Supporting business lines across FX, Rates, equities, credit, and commodities.
• Investment Management advice and broader fund management advice
• Work closely with the GC & COO and wider team and provide strategic legal advice
• General commercial and corporate work as required
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with exchanges, prime brokers and technology and service providers
• Providing legal advice, structuring and transaction management support

Qualifications and Requirements of Legal Counsel, Hedge Fund

• Qualified lawyer with 4-10 PQE
• LLB or JD from an accredited law school, and qualified within UK, US, Singapore, or any other commonwealth jurisdictions.
• Any added language skills is highly advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
