What You Will Do:
Develop and implement data protection and privacy policies and programs to ensure compliance with the applicable data privacy laws and regulations
Provide privacy support to new product launches and initiatives
Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments to embed privacy requirements in new scenarios and processes following the principles of Privacy by Design
Manage and follow up with Data Privacy matters, to enable successful navigation and compliance with company policies and applicable Data Privacy laws
Execute data governance policies and initiatives such as data mapping, data quality and data sharing
End to end track and manage data access and data subject requests in coordination across business functions
Keep up-to-date on current and emerging trends and changes in legislation within the area of Data Privacy and applicability to the organization
Compile and update an organized record of all compliance activities and maintain constant reporting
Design and implement appropriate training & awareness activities to secure policy adherence and awareness
Lead or participate other projects within or across departments
What We Are Looking For:
Education: Bachelor degree or above
Experience
Common law or EU (any EU jurisdiction) qualified lawyer with at least 3-8 years PQE, including at a law firm or in-house experiences
Familiar with data privacy laws and regulations in SG, experience in a data privacy compliance program
Good communication skills, excelled in interacting with external parties as well as internal parties
Prior experience in gaming or TMT industry preferred
Qualifications
CIPP/E, CIPP/US and CIPM certifications are preferred but not mandatory
Excellent written and spoken English
Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not mandatory
