About
The legal team is growing together with our company and is committed to provide top-end in-house legal services to our internal clients. We are looking for a competent candidate to join us to work closely with internal stakeholders to provide pragmatic and strategic advice on innovative enterprise and consumer product offerings and services in the region.
This position provides candidates with a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Candidates must be highly collaborative, self-motivated, adept at strategic thinking, and intellectually curious.
This role will be based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Support regional legal review of new products, product features, and other product-related matters to ensure compliance with laws in SEA+AUNZ
- Collaborate with product legal, regional legal, compliance, TnS, PR and GR teams to develop creative solutions for novel, complex product legal issues
- Lead efforts to develop global strategies, standards, and policies for minor safety, consumer protection, platform liability and other efforts for our enterprise and consumer products
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts relating to new products
- Monitor regulatory and industry trends across social media legislation, consumer protection, platform liability, cybersecurity, generative AI, data protection and minor safety to determine key issues for the company to address
- Reduce contracting friction and develop self-serve tools for business teams backed by legal training
