Job Description
- In this newly created role, you will support the APAC MD and wider Asia based team with on-going transactions, offering legal and commercial guidance as well as project management support.
- Working closely with front office teams around new products / fund launches / structuring transactions.
- You will take lead on various agreements in relation to distribution, third party, investment management and marketing. The work will include negotiating term sheets, advising on commercial issues and liaising with external counsel.
- You will work closely with the General Counsel to support other regions such as EMEA.
Requirements
- 5 - 10 PQE
- Trained at a reputable law firm and with experience across the funds sector
- Exposure to general funds work such as implementing strategies across multiple product lines and supporting teams with various investment based agreements.
- Understanding of structuring and regulatory considerations in key global jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently and then form part of a global legal team with global projects - essential
