LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance tasks, attending to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft and engines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. The role is a mixture of base and line maintenance, with the percentage allocated depending on workload.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests.

. Attend to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks and other line maintenance duties.

. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engines and all associated aircraft systems.

. Inspect finished work, carry out operation/functional tests, and rectify aircraft defects.

. Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release.

. Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable.

. Base Maintenance: 70%, Line Maintenance: 30%, depending on workload.

. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.

. Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

. A valid CAAS license or an Aircraft Maintenance License, that is transferable to a Singaporean CAAS license (EASA, CASA, DCAM, etc.).

. Possess at least 2 type ratings, with a minimum of one of the following type ratings: A320, A350, A380, B747, B777, and/or B787.

. At least five years of experience as an LAE.

. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (proficient in English reading and writing).

. Good customer relationship skills.
