JTC is the forerunner for Smart Facilities Management (FM) and has been appointed as the Centre of Excellence for Facilities Management (FM) to provide FM advisory to other public sector agencies.
We are looking for passionate lift engineers to join us to be part of a dynamic team that is the first in Singapore to introduce Lift Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics solutions, which will transform the entire Lift maintenance landscape in Singapore. This is all part of the plan to digitalise the Built Environment sector by using smart solutions in FM. You will play an integral role in working with regulatory authorities, lift manufacturers and technology partners to develop a new lift maintenance model that would be a game-changer in improving productivity and standards in the sector.
What you will be working on:
As a Lift Engineer, you will also responsible for the lift maintenance that involves
- Managing the modernization of lifts as well as the associated lift service contractors
- Strategizing on the procurement methodology in the calling of lift contracts to derive greater economies of scales
- Responding and resolving real-time situations and emergencies involving mechanical faults or breakdowns
- Ensuring the safety of the lifts through periodic inspections as part of preventive maintenance regime
You will also be expected to provide advisory services in terms of lift service contracts to other public sector agencies. If you are a creative problem solver and a team-player who relishes challenges, we invite you to join us!
What we are looking for:
Background in Mechanical, Electrical, general Engineering or equivalent. Those with experience as building consultants in design and construction supervision are welcome to apply. You should be familiar with lift maintenance, local codes and FM operational practices. You should preferably have at least 5 years of relevant professional work experience.
