Responsibilities
- Provide detailed voyage instructions to vessels
- Plan each voyage to align fulfillment to the Company's contractual commitment and safeguard the company's commercial interests
- Monitor vessels performance such as consumption, speed, and cargo conditions
- Ensure timely issuance of documents such as BL and LOI, surveyor reports, etc.
- Anticipate and contribute recommended ideas to optimize the schedule
- Managing claims such as demurrage, off-specs issues, additional consumption etc.
- Work closely with ship managers/owners to ensure vessels are running as efficiently as possible, with minimal downtime.
- Liaise with various counterparties including but not limited to buyers, vessel crews, port agents, bunker suppliers, surveyors etc.
Requirements
- Degree in Shipping/Maritime, Supply Chain & Logistics, or relevant discipline
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in vessel operations for LNG in a shipping or trading company
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Able to work outside office hours if necessary.
