Loan & Agency Operations (Corporate Banking)
Our client, a global bank is looking to fill the role of Loan & Agency Operations to ensure efficient administration of syndicated loan agency services. This role involves managing the lifecycle of agency transactions, including handling drawdowns, repayments, compliance checks, and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full transaction lifecycle for syndicated loans, from onboarding to final repayment.
- Execute drawdowns, rate adjustments, interest payments, and repayments according to contract terms.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of documentation related to syndicated loans, adhering to contractual terms and internal policies.
- Act as a central point of contact for syndicate banks, clients, and internal teams, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth communication.
- Identify and mitigate risks within agency operations by conducting regular reviews of loan documentation and transactional workflows.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and ensure high standards of service in agency transactions.
- Prepare and review reports on loan servicing and agency activities, providing insights for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 8+ years in Corporate Banking Operations, with specific experience in agency operations or syndicated loan servicing.
- Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, regulatory frameworks applicable to corporate banking.
- Good knowledge on construction of Swift messages
