Morgan McKinley is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist for a 1-year contract employment with our client in the digital/corporate banking industry. No experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily tasks within Loan Operations and Credit Administration, collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance systems and workflows for secured and unsecured lending as well as collateral management.
- Review and verify legal and loan documentation for mortgage lending, coordinating with external parties (e.g., solicitors, valuers, insurers) as required oversee and process mortgage loan redemptions.
- Handle account management activities, including account closures, fund freezing, and earmarking.
- Support other operational functions, including payment processing and treasury settlements, as needed.
- Perform any additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Banking & Finance or equivalent
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in Loan Operations and Credit Administration or someone who has banking operations internship experience
- Familiarity with commercial lending practices.
- Knowledge of various operational areas, such as time deposits, dormant accounts, GIRO, and FAST/PayNow, is an advantage.
- Self-driven, proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to engage effectively with local and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
