Prepare and process new loan applications supported by due diligence and analysis report for HQ in Taiwan and Board of Directors approval.
Maintain and review existing loan portfolio including loan disbursement or allocation, post-loan management, and maintaining relationship between the bank and its customers. Prepare periodic reports and translate it from English to Traditional Chinese for HQ. In the event of amendment or addendum to the customer contracts, to provide detailed analysis report of the revised contracts to HQ in Taiwan.
Responsible for preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports such as Customer Operation Status, Credit Risk, Credit Industry and Investigation Reports etc for submission to HQ in Taiwan, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Taiwan's regulatory authorities. The reports would include detailed statistical and qualitative with research analysis report on credit business, industry analysis, global market movements, APAC political situation, economics, customer operation status and risk management etc.
To act as liaison between Singapore Branch office and HQ in Taiwan.
Draft and review branch office policies and Standard Operating Procedures for lending policy and pricing of the branch's interest rate.
Prepare and transmit official documents, such as interbank authorized signatory specimens, meeting minutes of subsidiary board of directors and circulate announcements from financial authorities.
Handle day-to-day operations such as visiting clients, propose credit structure for loan application, prepare Letter of Credit (LOC), and follow up on loan cases.
Requirements:
A good recognised Bachelor degree in Economics, Financial Analysis, Treasury Management or related discipline
At least 3 years experience in the Banking industry and a proven track record in International Banking, Foreign Exchange, Loan and Corporate Banking Department
Prior experience in financial marketing, international trade and banking.
Resourceful, customer-oriented and sales driven with strong business development acumen to achieve sales targets
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese as this role handles East Asia market requires email correspondence and periodic reports in both English and Traditional Chinese for overseas branch offices and HQ in Taiwan
Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Competent in engaging and managing internal and external clients
A team player, proactive, resourceful and analytical
