PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Role
Be actively involved in the clinical management of patients with acute, chronic and non-morbid conditions.
In the course of delivery of patient care, doctors should:
Assess the presenting complaint and history
Carry out physical examination (where relevant)
Order and Carry out investigation (where relevant)
Arrive at an appropriate diagnosis of the presenting issue of patients
Prescribe medication (where relevant)
Provide further plans of management (e.g. referral to services within or outside the clinic, follow up plans etc.)
Provide education where necessary or refer to relevant healthcare professional for further patient education
Maintain confidentiality of patients medical records at all times.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Any other responsibilities assigned by Head of Polyclinic, Director, Clinical Services, Deputy CEO or CEO.
