Locum Phlebotomist (Half day, $25/hr) #HYNT

We are looking to hire a Locum Phlebotomist to be outsourced to healthcare organizations in Singapore!

Job Description:

. Arrange daily activities based on urgency of requests for fluid samples

. Identify patients and their personal information using their ID, documents or other means

. Determine the right venipuncture method based on patients condition.

. Reassure patients and help them relax

. Find veins that are suitable for puncture

. Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials and other equipment

. Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples

. Accurate labelling of blood samples with patient information/details

. Send or deliver blood samples for testing

. Answer patient questions and provide useful information

. Keep accurate records on fluid specimens and tests

. Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working

. Help with blood transfusions when needed

Requirements:

. Candidates with prior working experience in healthcare settings or those keen to work in healthcare are preferred.

. Nitec in Nursing or certification in phlebotomy will be highly preferred.

. No prior experience in phlebotomy is required (though preferred) as the department will be giving training and providing certificate for phlebotomy.
