Job Overview
This role supports the Network Infrastructure Business Operations Support team in a global setting known for its extensive network infrastructure across the APAC region. The position primarily focuses on logistics for managed points of presence (POPs), involving coordination across suppliers, warehousing, and transport vendors, along with internal teams. You will play a key part in ensuring a seamless supply chain process, overseeing the flow of critical infrastructure equipment to distribution points throughout APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate logistics and network infrastructure projects, ensuring the smooth flow of parts, materials, and equipment to POPs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiencies.
- Review and optimize forward and reverse logistics processes, including documentation.
- Collect and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics on a monthly basis, working with cross-functional team members.
- Support vendor onboarding, oversee invoice validation, and resolve any account payable issues.
- Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams to create and validate new purchase orders against bill-of-materials requirements.
- Oversee vendor transitions and ensure seamless integration of new vendors into existing logistics operations.
Daily Tasks:
- Serve as a liaison for various internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication to facilitate on-time, accurate shipments.
- Coordinate closely with teams such as Enterprise Network Services, Technical Program Managers, Trade Operations, and Sourcing Managers, allocating approximately 10% of work time to meetings with these groups.
- Manage purchase orders and procurement requests for services and suppliers, working with internal tools, Excel, and company-specific inventory management systems.
- Provide project support for upcoming changes, including vendor migration, warehouse transitions, and process updates planned for early 2025.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain operations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience in project or program management
- Proficiency in data analytics, including SQL
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
