DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, ACTIVE MOBILITY (DEVICE SHARING)
[What you will be working on]
The Device Sharing team in the Active Mobility Group oversees and administers the licensing of device-sharing operators in Singapore, and operationalises the QR code parking system to facilitate the responsible parking of dockless shared bicycles across the island.
You will shape the safe and sustainable growth of shared devices (such as dockless shared bicycles) across the island through data-driven policy-making and continuous regulatory refinement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Industry engagement and analysis
. Bilateral relation building with licensees and industry
. Monitor local and global industry trends, technologies and best practices
2. Licensing management
. Conduct regular performance assessments of licensees
. Oversee licence applications and renewal processes, including the evaluation of applications
. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing standards
3. Regulatory framework development
. Formulate and review regulatory measures and licensing standards
. Ensure policies remain relevant and effective in a rapidly evolving industry
4. Data analytics
. Analyse device sharing data and generate insights to inform policy decisions and operational improvements
5. QR Code Parking System Management
. Implement and maintain the QR code parking regime
. Manage vendor relationships and project deliverables
6. Stakeholder management
. Address public feedback and concerns
. Liaise with government agencies, corporate partners
[What we are looking for]
. Tertiary qualification in any discipline
. At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferred experience in regulatory policy and operations work will be valued.
. Strong data interpretation and analysis skills proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Python) is a plus
. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
. Highly adaptable and able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
. Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
. Strong project management abilities
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint)
