Deputy/Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance
What you will be working on
You will be part of Corporate Finance Division, which oversees credit evaluation, cash and investment management, foreign currency hedging and bonds issuance. Your main role will be to support the Treasury team on the essential operations that drive our key functions. This position offers a comprehensive introduction to corporate finance, encompassing aspects such as cash management, foreign exchange hedging and investment operations.
The key deliverables include but are not limited to the following:
1) Cash Management Operations:
. Assist in daily cash flow monitoring and forecasting, including maintenance and improvement of RPA bot (Python based)
. Support the management of liquidity risk and ensure sufficient cash availability for operations
. Prepare and analyse cash reports and bank reconciliations
. Coordinate with various divisions to optimize cash utilization and resolve discrepancies
2) Foreign Exchange (FX) Hedging Operations:
. Assist in development of FX Hedging strategies to hedge LTA's FX risks
. Execute FX transactions and maintain accurate records
. Perform/review utilisation of FX forward contracts for foreign currency payments
. Prepare and analyze financial and management reports on hedging activities and performance
3) Investment Operations :
. Prepare reports and presentations on LTA's investment portfolio performance.
. Assist in managing relationships with external fund managers and custodian.
. Support the monitoring of investment performance and adherence to investment guidelines
. Perform reconciliation of custodian reports with internal records

What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification preferably in Accountancy, Business, Finance, Economics or other relevant discipline
. Experience in Corporate Finance / Treasury operations preferred but not mandatory
. Interest and/or experience in adopting tools to automate, digitise or improve processes
. Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
. Experience in enterprise systems, e.g., SAP, preferred but not mandatory
. Analytical and detail oriented with good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
. Able to work independently and adhere to timelines
