APPLICATION ARCHITECT / IT SOLUTION ARCHITECT
What you will be working on
The Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Architect /Solution Architect and to oversee the application and solution architecture of LTA. You will play a critical role in shaping the technological landscape of LTA's applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security as well as adherence to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
.Lead the design and development of application / solution architecture for LTA, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological standards.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and robust application architecture solutions.
.Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the performance and efficiency of LTA's applications.
.Define and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for application development and architecture.
.Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing application architecture, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development teams, guiding them in implementing best practices and architectural patterns.
.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, and assess their potential impact on LTA's application architecture.
What we are looking for
.Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
.Proven experience (5 years) in application architecture design and development, with a focus on large-scale enterprise applications.
.Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, and secure application architectures.
.Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to cloud computing, microservices, API design, and modern web application frameworks.
.Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and best practices.
.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
.Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) would be an advantage.
