LEAD / PRINCIPAL / SENIOR MANAGER, IT SYSTEMS (APPLICATION)
What you will be working on
To align with the Digital Government Blueprint's vision of Digital to the Core, and Serves with Heart, LTA is embarking on a digital transformation journey by harnessing new technologies to drive broader efforts to revamp the digital platform, develop and integrate enterprise-wide IT systems. We envision to leverage cloud services such as government commercial cloud infrastructure for enhanced business agility and build stakeholder-centric services that cater to businesses needs.
You will lead the efforts to design, implement and integrate applications across legacy and new systems for the transformation and modernisation of applications.
You will be involved in:
. Understanding business requirements, product backlogs for agile delivery of application requirements including respective domains of functional, quality, integration, and security considerations etc.
. Defining the application architecture and components required to operationalise and support the business imperatives and process needs and ensure that the application performance, security, and scalability standards are met.
. Developing the key components of the application architecture and requirements
. Crafting application architecture, coding and integration standards for implementation across different application teams
. Leading squads of designers, developers and relevant stakeholders to implement various application components
. Ensuring design and implementation meet application performance goals
. Utilising DevSecOps tools effectively to build and deploy software, and advocate Shift-Left culture in development
. Integrating various cloud services and third-party product software services as required for the applications
What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or any relevant qualification with at least 8 years IT experience in implementation and delivery of web applications, with a focus on cloud solution (AWS, Azure)
. Experience in delivery, operations and maintenance of large and complex systems / platforms, application and infrastructure management, service level management and application security
. Experience in software development lifecycle, IT project management, service management, complex system integrations and application migration
. Experience in software engineering / enterprise architecture across multiple products, systems and platforms coupled with strong business acumen experience in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions for both legacy and modern applications
. Ability to transform functional and business requirements into application design and products
. Process sound data modelling skills and deep knowledge of relational and non-relational database concepts
. Ability to provide technical leadership to application squads for delivery matters and engage stakeholders on requirements as well as resolution of various application and integration issues
. Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
. Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Tricentis Tosca
. Well-versed in Angular and Object-oriented programming
. Knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
. Knowledge and implementation experience of the Government Instruction Manual for IT Management (IM8) and WOG baseline standards is an advantage
