What the role is
ASSISTANT MANAGER, CONTRACTS (TENDER)
What you will be working on
With the diverse range of work at LTA, there are always new contracts being formed in order to keep Singapore's public transport system going and growing.
You will be involved in the administration of procurement activities for LTA's procurement ranging from construction to goods and services. You need to be highly adaptable and able to work independently and multi-task in a very fast pace environment. You will work closely with colleagues across various divisions in LTA to provide support and expert advice on procurement procedures and monitor the progress of procurement activities to ensure timeliness award of contracts.
What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Project and Facilities Management or Quantity Surveying
. Vast experience in procurement administration and preferably able to handle goods and services as well as construction related procurement
. Good interpersonal and communication skills
. Customer-centric mindset
. Government procurement experience (with knowledge of the use of GeBiz and SAP system) would be an advantage
. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Access
