Assistant Manager, Procurement
What you will be working on
You will assist to manage, co-ordinate and supervise the LTA procurement section. These shall include the review of procurement policies and processes, providing guidance to end users on these procedures and developing appropriate procurement strategies for the organisation. You will work in a team to provide procurement services such as issuance of Purchase Orders in GeBIZ, sourcing, invitation and monitoring the timeline for evaluation of suppliers quotations. You are also required to ensure that there is segregation of duties from approving the purchase up to the award by the quotation approving authority. In addition, you shall be the front-line contact between suppliers and user divisions so that all queries and clarifications will be handled by procurement section to ensure a fair and transparent process.
What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline will be an advantage
. At least 2 years of relevant working experience, with 1 year of supervisory experience
. Good knowledge of common software applications
. Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills
. Preferably with some GeBiz knowledge
