Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team, coordinate with client's, consultants and sub-contractors on M&E matters to ensure the works carried out meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manage and lead M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes.
Manage the M&E consultants and M&E SU-contractors to meet project program, design deliverables, and Authority submission and timely approval.
Review & verify consultants design drawings, counter propose alternative design and feasibility of construction.
Review and value-add to the designs/specifications/drawings submitted by consultants.
Ensure the M&E designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations.
Coordinate with architectural team and structural team to ensure the final design is in-line with architect's design intents and client's requirements.
Liaise with BIM Manager on the BIM presentations, clash reports, ICE meeting schedules and requirements.
Assist and supervise the preparation of M&E coordination and shop drawings for the project to be used on site for construction.
Oversee M&E works, conduct inspections on site, monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to construction team.
Resolve site issues related to design or changes required by Construction team, to ensure no delay affecting main program.
Issuance of RFI & Site-Design Amendments
Ensure timely completion and good quality of works
Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as may be assigned
Job Requirements
Degree holder in M&E, Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordinator or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as M&E manager role. With experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skill.
