Responsibilities
. Analysing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams.
. Ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.
. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculates time requirements, sequences project elements
. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions
. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
. Preparing, scheduling, co-ordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
. Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specification.
. Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
. Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support
. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
