Experienced in managing interfaces for the design and construction of transit projects and have a full understanding of the design approval process and TFP/TOP process.
Shall take charge of all coordination work of civil, architectural, and System-Wide Contractors (SWC) and be responsible for managing project coordinators relating to civil/structural, architectural, and E&M.
Manage/coordinate work with sub-contractors.
Manage and coordinate all M&E subcontractors, and see to it that all installations are on schedule in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Review M&E Design, bill quantity and report to the Project Manager any discrepancy/rectification for immediate implementation.
Submit weekly report to the Project manager.
Responsible for overall techno -commercial issues , site execution, post contracts activities, sub-contractors management, dealing with client & consultants ,local authorities , business development, tender works and coordination with head office.
Lead the MEP design development and coordination meetings.
Review and coordinate design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Perform and implement value engineering proposals on the design.
Control and guide all M&E subordinates, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
Handle all submittals including shop drawings, material & systems, method statements.
Interface management with the client and consultant representatives, local authorities, and interface contractors.
Developing procurement strategies for subcontractors/ suppliers in terms of packaging and scope of works.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years of experience in managing Civil & Structural, Architectural, and/or E&M Building Services work of similar scale and complexity.
Knowledge of BIM/DGN/Auto CAD will be an added advantage.
Must have LTA project experience or any civil infrastructure projects.
