Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to understand project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Participate in the selection and procurement of E&M equipment like Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), ventilation systems, power distribution systems, and lighting systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for the installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of all E&M systems.
- Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies for potential E&M-related challenges during construction.
- Coordinate effectively with civil engineers and other specialists involved in the tunnel construction project to ensure seamless integration of E&M systems with the overall structure.
- Manage budgets allocated for E&M equipment, installation, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and safety standards related to E&M systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in E&M technologies for tunnel construction and implement them where applicable to improve efficiency or safety.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- Experience in underground civil works (tunnelling) ,Diaphragm Wall, Bore Piling is a plus
- Possess RE Registration with IES is an advantage
- Experience in LTA/MRT Project is an advantage
- Able to lead and work independently
