Job Objective
Supervision of Installation:
- Oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor the work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and adherence to project schedules.
Site Coordination:
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other supervisors to facilitate effective communication and workflow on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety of M&E installations.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the reliability and functionality of M&E systems.
- Review and approve M&E work completion, ensuring all installations meet regulatory standards and project requirements.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to M&E systems during installation and commissioning.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and contractors as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, inspections, and testing results.
- Prepare progress reports and updates for project management and stakeholders.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in M&E supervision within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in managing M&E installations for large-scale construction projects.
- Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing on-site operations.
