We are seeking a skilled machinery fitter and assembler to assist our team. Building and maintaining portable on site machines while updating service records, running tests on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance while always keeping the workspace tidy and efficient.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
. Building and Servicing of our machines with Assembly drawings, e.g. flange facing, pipe cutting, milling, drilling, tapping and line boring machines.
. Demonstration of machine operations for potential customers - on site
. Customer product training - on site
. Customer support activities - on site trouble shooting.
. Undertake Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by Management.
. Coordinate any corrective repair requirements with maintenance engineer and follow up with action.
. Able to read and understand basic drawings/fabrication instructions.
. Able to check raw materials, dimensions and requirements fromdrawings
. Conduct site visits and compile pictures for reporting to management to ensure machineries and equipment are being used and maintained correctly on site
. Ensure machine parts are fitted correctly to meet the requirements and specifications of the final product.
. Able to work under pressure
. Good team player
Qualifications &Experience
. Maintenance of pipeline system machines, e.g. flange facing, pipe cutting, Milling, Drilling, Tapping and line boring
. Proven mechanical skills with experience is essential
. Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability is also essential.
. Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail - essential for reporting and customer communications
