Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that all operations conform to safety requirements and maintain high safety standards.
• Performs machining jobs and able to reach technical drawings
• Performs calibration of machining work pieces.
• Comply with all statutory requirements as well as in-house Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) programmes.
• Reports all sub-standard conditions, equipments, practices and incompatible work processes.
• Reports all injuries, however minor and near misses to their supervisors.
• Uses all the required Personal Protective Equipment provided to them.
• Participates in all planned HSEQ programmes.
• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• NTC-3 or 2 certificate in metal machining or minimum three years in any metal machining companies.
• Knowledge of various operations of turning machines and shipyard's safety rules and regulations.
• Basic knowledge of different types of material.
