Maintenance Engineer (Satellite Communications) - Ang Mo Kio, up to $5k - MG

We are seeking a maintenance engineer for our client ST Engineering.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Responsiblities

Involve in one or more teams in supporting and upkeeping our Satellite Communication systems running smoothly through

. Troubleshooting works, of integrated systems consisting of electrical, mechanical and electronic subsystems in both indoor and outdoor environment

. Workshop bench test to troubleshoot faulty Radio Frequency and baseband equipment using common engineering tools and support test equipment

. Technical writing of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) of Radio Frequency and baseband equipment

. Technical writing of documents like work instructions and manuals

. Proficient in the use of support test equipment like multimeter, spectrum analyzer and power meter

. Proficient in operating simple tools

. Able to understand Radio Frequency Engineering drawings or Electrical circuits

. Supporting of overseas exercises when called for

Requirements

. Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics and Communication / Information Technology or equivalent

. Possess at least 5 years of maintenance/operating experience on the Satellite Communication system or with Alcatel/Cisco switch and router networking and Information Technology administration experience

. Ability to learn and pick up skills quickly

. Good leadership

. Self-motivated

. Possess Class 3 driving license is an added advantage

. Standby/recall duties are required on the rotational basis

. Must be willing to travel at short notice

. Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
