As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our airport's baggage handling infrastructure. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to providing a seamless travel experience for countless passengers daily.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the Baggage Handling System (BHS) equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the BHS system swiftly and effectively.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Comply with customer site rules and regulations, fostering a positive client relationship.

- Comply with airport regulations and safety standards while carrying out maintenance tasks.
- Execute maintenance work efficiently and uphold high-quality standards.
- Assist in equipment modification, replacement, and the installation of new assets.
- Stay updated with the latest BHS technologies and actively participate in relevant training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of industrial equipment, preferably in baggage handling systems or a related field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical control panels, drives, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is highly advantageous.
- Experience in working with Material Handling Systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to foster effective teamwork and communication within the maintenance team and across the airport.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure uninterrupted BHS operation.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
