Management Trainee

Company is expanding and looking at enthusiastic individual to join the team as Management Trainee.

The incumbent will be trained on leadership and operational skills locally, in preparation for hands on application and secondment to subsidiaries overseas. (Thailand, Myanmar)

The Management Trainee will undergo a 2-4 years (2 years SG, 2 years Overseas) program with the Company.

Overview of Job Scope (Non Exhaustive)

. Orders fulfillment

. Record, initiate and enter the orders (orders, acceptance, releasing, and special instructions) into the logistics system to ensure existing information are updated for further processing

. Liaise with external customers including hauliers for necessary arrangements and respond to their enquiries & requirements

. Assist Operations Manager to manage depot performance continually, executing job orders given by respective customers

. Assist Operations Manager to develop associates by providing training and coaching of junior staff so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are maintained

. Assist Operations Manager in all matters relating to the operations efficiency and safe utilisation of depot facilities and equipment to achieve optimum container throughput

. Assist Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including workplace safety, fostering a positive & dynamic team

. Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department

. Perform additional tasks as required to meet the department's needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in any field
• Pro-active, meticulous with an eye for details.
• Good team player with positive work attitude.
• Analytical and systematic.
• Possess leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to be bonded for 2-4 years (2 years SG & 2 years Overseas)
