This role seeks a responsible and nurturing individual to help manage the Advancement Office with donor stewardship.
Reporting to the Assistant Director (Stewardship), this role supports the Divisions work in stewarding the relationship between SIT and its donors. The Managers key responsibilities are initiating and maintaining effective platforms that allow positive engagements that benefit both donors and the institution.
Key Responsibilities
To provide good stewardship to donors by initiating touch points and activities to increase engagement and ensure donors are appreciated and connected to SIT.
Clearly articulate the institutions mission, impact and needs while also creating a connection to the donors preferences.
Working with the Assistant Director, Stewardship to build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that donors and institutions intent are fulfilled.
Provide support to other advancement services and processes as needed.
Job Requirements
Possess a good university degree with at least 5 years of working experience. (Prior work experience in advancement will be an advantage.)
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable and enjoys face-to-face meetings with donors and other stakeholders.
Attention to detail as part of relationship-building.
