Responsibilities
Submission of Regulatory Returns
1. Preparation, coalition of the returns
2. Use of proper formats
3. Ensure that correct data flows to the Report Generation System
Submission of Financial Statements as per Singapore Financial Reporting System.
1. Collection of required data from various resources.
2. Involve the respective departments
3. Get the FS checked from the Statutory auditors
Submission of various surveys conducted by MAS, MOM and other Govt. departments
1. Correct formats to be used
2. Necessary and accurate information to be collected from different functional departments.
Submission of HO returns and statutory audit of these returns.

3. To ensure that currency of the report is as desired by HO
Support to Representative Offices and branches which are under control of the Singapore Centre.
There is 1 Representative offices (Jakarta) and 1 branches (Ho Chi Minh City). Singapore is required to correctly assess the requirement of these establishments and provide the required support
Publishing banks balance sheet every year before 31st August in three local news papers
Correct balance sheet is selected and publications are checked before giving for final printing
Calculation of Estimated Chargeable income, filing tax returns and arranging for funds for payment of income tax as per the agreed terms with IRAS.
1. Sourcing the Tax team from the audit company in time.
2. Providing the required information to the audit team
3. Follow up with the audit team for timely submission of ECI, tax returns and deduction of tax as per the schedule fixed by IRAS.
Managing banks premises, furniture and fixtures and keep them adequately insured.
1. Adequate care of the premises and furniture and fixtures is taken
2. Various charges including rent to be paid to the Building Management are paid in time.
3. The properties are insured adequately
4. As the branch premises is under lease, Lease deed to be renewed in time.
Managing estates of the bank. Bank is presently owning 17 properties in Singapore which are occupied by the IBOs.

3. Property tax is to be paid in time
4. Various charges to be paid to the Management of Condominiums as per predefined tariff and time
Preparation, modification of policies pertaining to Accounts department. (Records and Retention Policy)
1. Various guidelines of MAS , MOM and HO are adhered to while preparing and modifying the policies
2. Renewal of the policies is done in time
3. Various activities of the department are carried out in line with the guidelines mentioned in the policy.
Monitoring of various regulatory requirement like AMR, MCB, MLA, AQL etc
1. Ensure that the various requirements are calculated properly
2. Various updates from MAS with regard to maintenance of these ratios are captured and accordingly the ratio calculations are modified.
Scanning of branch records.
1. Scanning machines are kept in working conditions
2. Documents to be scanned of various departments are collected in some predefined manner and are stored properly.
3. Only authorized persons are given access to these documents
4. Scanned documents are stored / saved properly and backups are taken at fixed intervals.
Performing Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
To perform due diligence on Corporate/Retail Customer (High/Medium/Low risk as per the frequency & allocated number of customers.
To perform Audit of due diligence performed by Relationship Officer for Retail Customer
To follow-up for documents/related paper pertaining to CDD
Review of Outsourced Service Providers related to document warehouse
To perform due diligence on outsourced service provider (OSP) and conduct DDR
To maintain records related to OSP
Compliance with guidelines of MAS / MOM / RBI / HO as and when applicable.

Maintaining of staff records, payment of salary, bonus etc., to staff, proper maintenance of leave records, issuance of itemized pay slips, providing good working conditions, providing safety to staff
Compliance with guidelines of MAS / MOM / RBI / HO as and when applicable.
