Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, managing relationships, establishing business frameworks, driving performance improvements, and conducting overall business reviews
Monitor industry trends and supplier risk profiles to develop long-term supplier engagement strategies
Identify and source new business partners to meet the evolving needs of the organization
Develop strategies to continuously maximize cost savings for the organization while ensuring high quality and timely delivery
Understand the companys long-term requirements and engage in strategic planning and collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators
Lead the implementation of initiatives with relevant stakeholders to secure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reductions
Organize and lead Business Reviews and Category Review Meetings
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline
Management experience and/or at least five years of experience in Category Management is essential
Experience in the subcontractor manufacturing industry is an advantage
Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain systems, and dynamics
Ability to work well under pressure, both independently and within a cross-functional team
Possesses an innovative, analytical, and solution-focused mindset, with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills for evaluating and delivering actionable insights
Exceptional interpersonal communication and influencing abilities
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the capability to handle multiple initiatives
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
