What you will be working on
This role involves leading and facilitating the transition of technology-related changes within the organisation, to support the adoption of new processes, systems, and organisational structures. The individual will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and would also be tasked with integrating service design principles into change processes to facilitate seamless transitions and mitigate resistance to change, and to drive change initiatives that enhance our organisational effectiveness and service delivery.
Change Planning and Implementation
- Developing change management strategies and plans that align with the organisation's goals. This includes identifying the need for change, setting objectives, and outlining the steps required to achieve successful implementation.

Change Impact Analysis
- Assess the impact of change to identify the impact and effects changes on organisational processes, systems, and people, and identify potential risks and devising strategies to address resistance and facilitate a smoother transition.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to build support for change initiatives, ensuring awareness, commitment, and adoption of the assigned project.

Communication
- Develop and execute impactful communication strategies tailored to various target audiences, ensuring clear, meaningful messaging that resonates with stakeholder.

Training and Enablement
- Collaborate in the development, design and delivery of training and enablement strategies aligned with change initiatives, to equip impacted stakeholders with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new processes and systems.

Stakeholder Readiness and Support
- Conduct assessment to gauge the stakeholder readiness for change and identify areas that require additional support or intervention to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure readiness for change, employing strategies to manage resistance and facilitate a positive acceptance of new initiatives.

Integrating Service Design in Organisational Change
- Assessing how changes will impact service delivery, identifying opportunities to improve services during the change processes, and ensuring that the redesigned services align with organisation evolving needs and goals.

Salary:
$3800 to $5000
What we are looking for
- 3 to 5 years of experience in change management or a related field, with a strong track record of successfully implementing change initiatives.
- Tertiary qualification preferably in change management-related, organisation development-related or communications-related fields. Relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement change management strategies and plans effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of crafting and delivering clear, impactful messages to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct thorough Change Impact Analyses.
- Experience in supporting the design and delivery of training programs related to change initiatives.
- A deep commitment to public service and alignment with our organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Prior experience in the public sector or a complex, regulated environment is preferred.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
