Job Description
Project Carer Matters 2 aims to establish a hospital-to-home framework to better support caregivers of older adults in the Central Health Region. A major thrust of this project is the digitalization of solutions to increase accessibility and utility to seniors and their caregivers.
Over the course of the project, the project manager will lead the planning and execution of the project, coordinating with other departments and operations personnel from multiple disciplines and settings to ensure all aspects of the project are compatible.
The project manager will be responsible for the successful integration and implementation of Project Carer Matters 2 into the operational and clinical workflows, to ensure they can be directly applied to improve the care of caregivers and their loved ones.
Candidates will also be able to gain experience in managing the multiple facets of this project and hone their skills in design thinking and change management.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight, design and execution of project and adherence to milestones.
- Responsible for overseeing the development, integration and implementation of solutions into organisational operations, clinical processes and workflows.
- Lead development of the translation and sustainability of strategies with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions segue into business-as-usual operations.
- Lead the team responsible for operationalization and integration of solutions.
- Strategize publicity and outreach events to increase uptake of patient-caregivers, family members and volunteers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognised Bachelors Degree from any discipline.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects, from development of solutions to their implementation into business-as-usual operations.
- Energetic, adaptable, and highly driven individual who is able to thrive under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills, project management skills and experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Good working knowledge of MS office applications
Preferred Requirements:
- At least 2 years of project management experience. Experience in managing digital projects or complex projects will be beneficial.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals or community partners will be an advantage.
