Singapore Land Group Limited is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Group Finance team. This role will lead a small team and be instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, managing budgets and forecasts, and supporting the overall financial strategy of the group. The candidate will bring deep expertise in managing consolidation processes, delivering high-level financial insights, and navigating regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual report and half yearly results announcements for SGX reporting.
- Lead all group consolidation and financial reporting activities (internal and external).
- Review monthly management reports with variance analysis to enhance visibility to the group's performance.
- Drive and review forecasting, budgetary planning and reporting.
- Prepare reporting package to ultimate holding company and be the key liaison person for any other ad-hoc financial information request/queries.
- Key lead in system enhancement and any other system implementations.
- Keep abreast of new technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
- Increase efficiency by developing or implementing automated solutions and processes.
- Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc projects and related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent with CA/CPA certification.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, including prior managerial experience, with Big 4 audit exposure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), hands-on experience using SAP will be advantageous.
- Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous, organised and resourceful.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good team player and able to deliver results under tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
