Family Group: Administration
You will be part of the Global Partnerships and Engagement Division, with the Communicable Diseases Agency Planning Office (CDA PO), responsible for advancing the agencys international, regional and bilateral relations with overseas counterparts and stakeholders.
The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapores communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. The CDA POs role is to plan and execute the setup of the CDA, which will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to advance Singapores interests in global health security both internationally and bilaterally
Strategise, formulate and and implement projects to build strategic partnerships with international counterparts and stakeholders
Represent Singapore in regional and multilateral fora
Staff senior officials and principals for international meetings (e.g., scheduling, conduct background research to prepare notes/talking points, logistic support, taking minutes)
Plan, support and coordinate both incoming and outgoing visits
You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that will require you to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities concurrently for a smooth transition to the CDA.
Job Requirements:
Background in public health and international relations or related disciplines will be an advantage
At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in government agencies or healthcare institutions
A keen interest in Singapore's communicable diseases policies, global health issues and international affairs
Meticulous individual with strong analytical competency
Resilient individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Team player who is self-motivated to initiate and see through projects
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel overseas for work
