The incumbent is to be responsible for a broad range of Operational HR services to meet employee-related business needs and to ensure that the HR Operations function is audit ready at all times.Manage the daily HR operations
- Manage the delivery of pre-employment screening via the approved vendor ensuring that all new employees are effectively screened according to the HR Principles & Guidelines
- Ensure that all HR operational processes e.g. onboarding, work pass administration, leave administration, benefits administration, performance management, offboarding are implemented in a timely manner
- Ensure that payroll advice is submitted to the vendor accurately and timely, prepare payroll related documents such as headcount and payroll reporting, bonus provision
- Responsible for income tax reporting such as preparing IR8A, appendices such as shares gain, car park, temp accommodation
- Ensure the accuracy of the invoices for HR related services are raised and paid promptly
- Conduct briefing session for new hires
Process Improvement
- Continuously seeking to leverage Workday system by ensuring that PSS HR processes are automated wherever is possible
- Working with the internal Workday HR team, consider creative solutions for the additional use of the system to deliver business outcomes
- Streamline and automate HRMI reporting via Workday wherever is possible
- Manage the processes to ensure data integrity in Workday
Vendor Management
- Manage HR Operations vendors in line with the prevailing Group vendor management policy
Business delivery and client management
- Utilize feedback given by clients, employees and product providers to evaluate and improve employees experience
- Deliver operational experience and expertise to the formation of projects that contribute towards exceptional employee service, explore opportunities and identify negative threats
Ad Hoc duties/projects
- Ad hoc projects assigned
Job Specifications
. University degree, preferably with an emphasis in a relevant HR discipline
. HRIS and data analytics experience - Workday preferred
. Contract and vendor management experience
. Project management skills (trainable if required)
. Experience of delivering process review and improvement
. Experience of managing and transforming Payroll Operations
. Displays the following soft competencies: formal presentation, building strategic client relationships, planning and organizing, analysis/problem solving, influence, collaboration, performance management and negotiation
