Family Group: Administration
We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on a Team Leader role to provide Clinical Operations Support to selected Clinical Department(s) under the Division of Medicine [1] in an acute tertiary hospital.
As the Team Leader, you will directly assist both the Director, Operations as well as the Clinical HOD(s) and key stakeholders to plan, develop and implement new care models and clinical services to support the running of the clinical services within the campus.
You will also play an integral role in the strategic development of these clinical services through redesigning the patient journey through improvement projects or new developmental initiatives for the clinical department.
In addition, you are expected to guide a team in other aspects of Clinical Operations Support including but not limited to: Project Management, Data Collection & Analysis, Resource Management including budgetary planning, procurement, Event Management & Logistics (on an ad-hoc basis) and other administrative/secretariat responsibilities.
Where required, you will engage with multi-disciplinary stakeholders within and out of the hospital such as Ministry of Health (MOH), National Health Group (NHG), community partners or third-party vendors on behalf of the Clinical Department(s), on matters such as but not limited to clinical service strategies and implementation plans, infrastructure matters, patient queries, IT issues, regulatory matters and financials, with the key objective to integrate diverse perspectives to achieve patient-centred care.
As Team Leader, this role will interact closely with both Senior Management from Clinical Depts, Operations as well as ground managers (from the clinics).
Candidates keen in growing expertise in this area of clinical support operations will be given the opportunity to rotate through multiple clinical departments for exposure and career progression within the hospital.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
At least 8-10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in healthcare administration.
Candidates with previous experience working with senior doctors/clinicians in planning and implementing clinical programmes at tertiary care institutions will be at an advantage, though this is not a pre-requisite.
Organised, meticulous individual with good project management, time management and numerical proficiency.
Ability to work in a team and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic about learning on the job and willing to go the extra mile to see things through.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written skills (English), oral communications and presentation skills.
